Define the case

All cases with fever and red rash (not blisters) or patients suspected by the doctor of jaundice or measles Little Red.

Urgent reporting and investigation of all cases
Regular weekly reports
Sample collection

Collect pooled blood samples in serum collection tubes (no anticoagulant) and separate serum, samples should be collected within 28 days after​ pimples

– Take a sample of the mucous membrane of the throat within 5 days after the day of the rash

– Put in the Viral Transport Medium (VTM)

– Store and transport the sample at a temperature of 4°C-8°C (there must be at least 4 ice cubes in the box to be delivered) go)

– Samples must be received within 24-48 hours

Initial analytical examination

Look for IgM antibodies against Measles.

Look for IgM antibodies against rubella.

Note: To make a clear diagnosis, please take a photo of the rash and send it to the Epidemic and Health Unit.
